It was at her family’s restaurant in Santos that the current CEO of the Clara Resorts group learned about entrepreneurship and began shaping her own path to success.

With a degree in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) and a postgraduate degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management from École Supérieure de Cuisine Française de Paris Ferrandi, Taiza Krueder also trained as a chef, earning that credential at the same prestigious school.

Taiza is a member and director of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), a global community of executive leaders who come together to create positive impact in business and in society. She is also engaged in social causes and supports the NGO Ecociente, which provides socio-environmental education for young people ages 13 to 17. Guided by a vision of a fairer future, Taiza also mentors and supports other women entrepreneurs, seeking to inspire and strengthen their communities.

About the Clara Resorts group

Made up of two award-winning resorts, the Clara Resorts group includes Clara Ibiúna Resort and Santa Clara Eco Resort. Both properties bring together luxury, leisure, and direct contact with nature.

It is worth noting that all of Taiza Krueder’s initiatives align with ESG principles. Her practices, both personal and professional, emphasize social responsibility, environmental preservation, and conscious use of resources. The resort group is recognized for its eco-minded approach to hospitality, especially for families seeking a premium experience who want to enjoy nature and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

Last year, Clara Ibiúna Resort was honored by Hotéis de Luxo Brasil with the Best Hotel Sustainability Project award. The resort competed among more than 2,500 hotels, with 300 businesses standing out at the end of the process. The guide’s research included the participation of specialists in Brazil’s luxury market, notable clients, and premium hospitality consultants.

Taiza Krueder: a voracious student of life and books

In interviews, the businesswoman describes herself as a voracious student of books and of life, an eternal learner who lives to collect meaningful connections and stories. Along her learning journey, she fell in love with the art of cooking, and alongside her role as CEO, she also became a chef. Today, she leads the recipe creation for the renowned German restaurant Braugarten.

Clara in Casa’s social media channels are still active, sharing activities for children, ideas for the home, and simple yet refined recipes created by Chef Taiza Krueder.

Book “O Sabor de Compartilhar”

Beyond being a business leader and a chef, Taiza Krueder is also a talented writer. In her book “O Sabor de Compartilhar”, she presents a selection of more than 70 recipes, ranging from everyday dishes to creations for special occasions, all just a page turn away. To bring the project to life, Taiza compiled recipes inspired by her travels, along with those shared by fellow cooks and friends.

Taiza Krueder and her partnership with Inhotim

Recently, Taiza Krueder made a major investment in two new properties to be built near Instituto Inhotim, the world’s largest open-air museum, located in Brumadinho (MG).

Over the next six years, R$ 300 million will be allocated to the construction of these two new properties around Inhotim. In a recent interview, Taiza said, “Usually, people go to Clara Resorts and stay for a week, so I’m going to apply the same structures and the same charm we already have at our other hotels in Inhotim, because I believe it’s a place that deserves to be enjoyed gradually.”

Inhotim and a sustainability project

The boutique hotel inside the iconic Inhotim Museum is expected to open in December of this year. The resort will offer a distinctive experience, allowing guests to fall asleep and wake up inside the museum, immersed in nature and surrounded by works from renowned artists. Taiza Krueder notes that the project focuses on sustainability and responsibility, seeking to incorporate elements of the museum itself into hotel programming, including artistic initiatives for children.

The investment is expected to generate around 280 direct jobs and 80 indirect jobs. The hotel will feature 46 bungalows in its first phase, with plans to expand to 250 accommodations by 2029. Services will include pools, a spa, restaurants focused on organic cuisine, and more. The décor aims to reflect the museum’s artistic and cultural essence, using local materials and working with professionals from Minas Gerais, in order to strengthen the local economy.
