A whole month of art and nature, with experiences for all ages.
– 01 de May de 2026
Learning and play in perfect harmony.
For us, what truly matters is what each guest takes with them when they leave. That’s why our music, arts & crafts, and visual arts workshops — offered in exclusive partnership with O Pequeno Colecionador — spark creativity and turn moments into shared works of art.
Evenings that shine with fun and magic.
When the sun sets over Inhotim, Clara Arte comes alive with a nighttime program that turns every evening into a celebration. Live performances set the tone for conversations under the stars, while Vegas Night brings out guests’ most playful side in a sophisticated and lively atmosphere.
Our cocktail festival inspires delightful encounters, filled with unique flavors and gastronomic discoveries—showing that at Clara Arte, the art of welcoming goes far beyond sunset, creating memories that glow in the charm of the Minas night.
A light, relaxed conversation filled with insights and discoveries.
Happy Art is a special moment with our local guides, who share stories and curiosities about Inhotim — along with valuable tips for first-time visitors or for those who wish to see the museum through a new lens.
An inspiring conversation to begin your artistic immersion with more meaning and enchantment.

Inhotim’s May program brings together long-term exhibitions, educational activations, collection talks, and initiatives that strengthen connections with Brumadinho. In the exhibition program, visitors can experience shows that explore contemporary art, memory, territory, ancestry, and spirituality, such as Dupla cura, by Dalton Paula — the artist’s first panoramic exhibition in Brazil; Tororoma, by davi de jesus do nascimento; Contraplano, by Lais Myrrha; and Ru Jub’ulik Achik’ – Aromas de um sonho, by Edgar Calel.
Also on view are projects such as Maxita Yano, the new configuration of the Claudia Andujar Gallery; Esconjuro, by Paulo Nazareth; O Barco, by Grada Kilomba; Giro, by Luana Vitra; Homo sapiens sapiens, by Pipilotti Rist; and Apenas depois da chuva, by Rebeca Carapiá. The exhibitions occupy galleries and outdoor spaces throughout the Institute, creating dialogues between art, landscape, history, collectivity, and diverse cosmologies.
Among the month’s activations, the Traveling Atelier invites visitors to experience creative practices across different areas of the museum and botanical garden. The program includes Between Leaves and Knowledge: The Science of Axé Plants on May 1, 2, 3, 7, 28, 30, and 31; Museum Atelier on May 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17; as well as activities during National Museum Week, such as Photo-Fabulation on May 21 and Forró at the Square on May 23 and 24. Some editions include accessibility resources such as Brazilian Sign Language interpretation and bilingual mediation upon request.
The Collection Talks are also part of the program, promoting guided encounters in galleries, gardens, and outdoor artworks. In May, the themes include Inhotim 20 Years: Marilá Dardot Edition, Brazilian Art at Inhotim: Paulo Nazareth Edition, The Contemporary at Inhotim: Continente/Nuvem Edition, and a special National Museum Week edition featuring Álisson Valentim, museologist at Inhotim.
The month also features initiatives focused on education and local territory. The project Decentralizing Access 2026 hosts virtual meetings on May 4, 16, 23, and 30, addressing contemporary collections and current debates. In Brumadinho, the Institute takes part in the Festival Sabor das Brumas on May 30, offering registration for the Nosso Inhotim program, and hosts the second edition of the Experiência Brumadinho fair on May 9, celebrating local producers, artists, cultural leaders, and traditional knowledge from the region.
