Security Management System
Grupo Clara Resorts maintains a Safety Management System designed to prevent, mitigate and respond to risks that may affect guests, employees, partners, the surrounding community and the environment across all group properties (Clara Arte, Clara Dourado and Clara Ibiúna).
Security Policy
Grupo Clara Resorts is primarily committed to providing safe, high-quality services that promote guest satisfaction, supported by an organizational policy based on the following pillars:
Customer Satisfaction
We continually seek to meet our guests’ needs and improve the services we provide. We measure performance and continuously train our teams, with the aim of delivering excellent service and continuously improving all processes, actions and operations. This does not constitute a guarantee of a specific outcome in each individual service interaction, but rather an ongoing commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
Environment
We respect the environment in which each property operates and are committed to conserving and preserving nature. We maintain initiatives aimed at preserving woodlands, forests, springs, waterfalls and adjacent streams, integrating environmental and ecological sustainability into our activities and operations.
Legislation
We continually seek to comply with applicable legislation across our various areas of operation, including environmental and occupational health and safety requirements. We are committed to meeting applicable legal requirements, managing risks to the life and physical integrity of all those involved, and safeguarding the sustainability of the business. Subsequent changes in legislation may lead to revisions of this Policy and the corresponding operating procedures without individual prior notice to each guest.
Social Commitment
We value local culture, people and organizations, with a focus on ethics, sustainability and safety. We seek to meet the expectations of all those directly and indirectly involved and to encourage the socioeconomic development of the communities in which we operate.
Risk Management and Incident Response
Grupo Clara Resorts adopts measures to prevent, monitor and respond to safety incidents (physical, operational, health-related and environmental), including internal protocols, team training and, where applicable, cooperation with competent authorities. Notwithstanding the efforts undertaken, no safety measure can entirely eliminate all risks inherent in hospitality, tourism and outdoor leisure activities, and Grupo Clara Resorts does not guarantee the absolute absence of incidents.
Guest Responsibility
Guests are expected to follow the safety instructions communicated on the premises, through signage and by employees, especially in areas involving natural risks (trails, waterfalls, streams, swimming pools and wooded areas). Failure to follow these instructions may exempt Grupo Clara Resorts, in whole or in part, from liability for any resulting damages, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Fortuitous Events, Force Majeure and Acts of Third Parties
Grupo Clara Resorts is not responsible for events arising from fortuitous events, force majeure, natural phenomena, acts of third parties beyond its control, or circumstances that fall outside the standard of care reasonably required, without prejudice to non-waivable legal obligations.
Review of this Policy
This Policy is periodically reviewed by the management of Grupo Clara Resorts and may be updated to reflect legal, operational or risk-management changes.
