Ingredients

• 300 g sweet shortcrust pastry
Filling:
• 3 eggs
• 100 g unsalted butter
• 100 g brown sugar
• 1 coffee spoon vanilla extract
• 150 ml honey
• 2 cups pecans

Directions:

Line a removable-bottom pan with the pastry and bake in a preheated oven until the edges are lightly golden.
Meanwhile, in a mixer, beat the unsalted butter and brown sugar until light and smooth.
Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then mix in the vanilla extract, honey, and pecans.
Remove the pan from the oven, pour the filling over the pre-baked crust, scatter a few more pecans on top, and return to the oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes, or until the filling is set and golden.
